Senega Pentarkan Ptk 77 is used for chronic bronchitis. It relieves cough with plenty of viscous mucus, such as that seen in older people or heavy smokers. It is also helpful with chronic inflammation of the bronchi, which is associated with cough and dry, cramp-like cough.

Compositions

1 Ptk 77 tablet contains: Senega Ø 125 mg; Antimonium sulfuratum aurantiacum 3X 25 mg; Hepar sulfuris 3X 25 mg; Naphthalinum 4X 25 mg; Stannum jodatum 3X 25 mg; Excipients Q.S. to 250 mg.

Indications

Senega Pentarkan which is also known as Hepar Sulphuris Pentarkan is effective in chronic bronchitis with coughing persists for more than three months. The epithelia of the respiratory tract can be affected from prolonged cigarette snaking or toxic inhalants.

• Controls rattling in the chest with a feeling of tightness and soreness.
• Useful in ‘winter cough’ with congestion and cough with plenty of tough mucus in the chest.
• Indicated for chronic bronchial and pulmonary conditions where cough is loud, dry, cramp-like cough and hollow with mucopurulent expectoration.

Dosage/ Uses

Unless otherwise prescribed, Schwabe Senege Pentarkan Tablet should be taken as follows 1 tablet should be taken 3 times a day. Children between 6 12 years of age should be given half of the adult dose.

Note: For the treatment of patients suffering from thyroid disease, in particular, please note that this product contains an iodine compound and therefore to be used in consultation with your homoeopath.
