Composition : Zinc Oxide USP 40% ointment. Indication : It is indicated for preventing and treating diaper rash as well as minor skin irritations (e.g. cuts, burns, and scrapes, poison ivy). It works by providing a skin barrier to prevent and help to heal skin irritation. Dosage and administration : At first, wet and soiled diaper should be changed. Promptly; the diaper area is cleaned & allowed drying. A thin layer of ointment should be applied topically every 8 hourly. It should be applied liberally as often as necessary, with each diaper change, especially at bedtime or any time when exposure to wet diapers may be prolonged.
